Prof. Ph.D. Željko Tanjić, rector of the Catholic University of Croatia, participated in the meeting of the Governing Board of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (FIUC), which took place at the Catholic University of Paris on April 24 and 25, 2023.

The members of the Board of Directors at the headquarters of the FIUC discussed the activities, programs and actions of the Federation, as well as the strategic plan for the next three years. The work report presented by prof. was accepted. Ph.D. Isabel Capeloa Gil, president of FIUC and rector of the Portuguese Catholic University. A financial plan was also approved. The members of the Board of Directors also made some decisions regarding the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the International Federation of Catholic Universities, which will take place next year, in 2024.

It is worth noting that on October 11 and 12, 2023, the Research Group for Social Sciences of the International Federation of Catholic Universities will hold an international conference “Youth Mobility in the Twenty-First Century” at the Catholic University of Croatia.
