Last weekend (May 6 and 7, 2023), our athletes achieved exceptional results in two different competitions! In the finals of the Unisport Zagreb competition, the men’s tennis team won 3rd place. In the group, they beat other teams from the Faculty of Law and Kinesiology. In the quarter-finals, they defeated the Faculty of Philosophy, while in the semi-finals, they were stopped by the first team of the Faculty of Kinesiology in a close fight. In the match for 3rd place, they defeated the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Vicko Ćudina, Stjepan Majcan and Dominik Patrik Živković played for our team.

At this year’s Humanities in Umag, our men’s futsal team finished in an excellent fourth place! Universities and faculties from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the Humanities, and our boys reached the semi-finals without defeat, showing the results of their work and the great togetherness that adorns them. In a great quarterfinal match, they defeated the team of the Faculty of Dentistry from Sarajevo with a score of 1:0. In the semi-final, the details decided, and the victory went to the team of the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Zagreb, as it later turned out, the winners of the tournament. In addition to the excellent result, the boys also achieved one of the main goals of our sports teams, which is to present themselves and our University with togetherness and sportsmanship and academic behavior.
