We are proud to announce that the Digital healthcare ethics laboratory (Digit-HeaL) has become the newest member of the European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance). ECHAlliance is the Global Health Connector for Digital Health, facilitating multi-stakeholder connections around health ecosystems, driving sustainable change and disruption in the delivery of health and social care.

As a global community, ECHAlliance connects 78 countries and 4.4 billion people (Africa, Americas, Asia, Canada, Caribbean, China, Europe, India, the Pacific and USA). ECHAlliance brings together more than 20,000 experts – including government, health and social care providers, leading companies and start-ups, researchers, insurance companies, patients groups and citizens, and investment communities, which connect through meetings, international events and online platforms.

The Digital Health Observatory (DHO) and The Digital Health Society (DHS), which resulted from the work of the ECHAlliance, facilitate and promote the transfer of knowledge, experiences and best practices creating a global community of knowledge in Digital Health. DHO, as a non-profit initiative, aims to facilitate and promote the transfer of knowledge, creating a community of knowledge in Digital health open to all professionals of the health ecosystem from the local to global level. DHS, as a movement and a legacy of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2017, works with interested EU Presidencies and multistakeholders to promote digital health policies, services and products and focuses on health data and data management.
