On Thursday, 9 September 2023, the Catholic University of Croatia was visited by Jennifer Healy, director of the American Bishops’ Conference Committee for Aid to Churches in Central and Eastern Europe, and Andrew Kirkpatrick, an expert in grants and scholarships.

The guests from America were received by the rector prof. Ph. D. Željko Tanjić with vice-rectors. Rector Tanjić introduced the guests to the development and plans of the Catholic University of Croatia and thanked them for the support that the American Bishops’ Conference has been providing to our University for several years.

This was followed by meetings with fellows of the American Bishops’ Conference, the Project Office and project applicants. After the meetings, the guests toured the University Campus.

Rector Tanjić pointed out that the care of the American Bishops’ Conference is important for the development of the university, especially when it comes to scholarships for the doctorates of our assistants. So far, the American Conference for Scholarships and Projects has donated about 194,000 US dollars to the Catholic University of Croatia.
