In the collection of papers titled Five Years After Laudato Si’. Where Are We Now? there are seven papers in English, which resulted from a scientific conference with international participation held in May 2020 at the Croatian Catholic University. Due to the pandemic circumstances, the conference was held live, but also via the Microsoft Teams platform, and was attended by more than 100 participants (professors, students, practitioners, researchers from Croatia, Italy, Austria, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia). The Five Years After Laudato Si’ conference. Where Are We Now? wanted to make an evaluation of scientific, professional and pastoral activity five years after the publication of the encyclical Laudato Si’, and the plenary speaker was Professor Luigino Bruni from the Rome University LUMSA. Publishers of the proceedings are the Croatian Catholic University and Veritas – Herald of St. Anton Padovanski, and the reviewers are distinguished professors from three Croatian (University of Zagreb, J. J. Strossmayer University in Osijek, Croatian Catholic University) and two foreign universities (Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas from Rome – Angelicum and Cardinal Wyszyński University from Warsaw). The collection was edited by associate professor. Ph.D. Zoran Turza from the Department of Theology of the Croatian Catholic University and Assoc. Ph.D. Miriam Mary Brgles from the Department of Sociology of the same University.
