CUC Psychology and Medical Faculty Members Lectured at the Course “Ergonomics, Safety, Individual Approach to the Woman in Labour”
Faculty members from the Catholic University of Croatia participated in the course “Ergonomics, Safety, Individual Approach to the Woman in Labour” for physicians and midwives, held on 19 March 2026 at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Sisters of Charity University Hospital Centre.
Assist. Prof. Lidija Fumić Dunkić, PhD, from the School of Medicine, delivered a lecture titled “Analgesia and Anaesthesia in Childbirth,” while Assoc. Prof. Sandra Nakić Radoš, PhD, from the University Department of Psychology, delivered a lecture titled “Communication in Childbirth: How to Reduce Stress and Increase Satisfaction?”
Midwifery students from the Catholic University of Croatia also participated in the course as attendees. The entire course was highly productive and encouraged discussion on the introduction of evidence-based practices aimed at improving safety, increasing satisfaction, and reducing stress for mothers and children.
