Women’s and men’s futsal players finished the season

At the end of March, the season also came to an end for the women’s and men’s futsal teams of HKS. The women’s team convincingly defeated PMF 5:1 in the 6th round, with goals from Pandžić, Vitasović, Crljenko, Zuber, and Rimac, while Pandžić was named player of the match. In the 7th round, despite a strong performance and a stunning volley goal by Crljenko after an assist from Rimac, they lost 2:1 to PBF. It is also worth highlighting Fistrić, who stood out with numerous saves, once again proving how important she is to the team. In the final round, they were defeated by EFZG, but the team finished the season in 4th place in Group A and, for the fourth consecutive year, qualified for the quarterfinals, where KIF proved stronger last weekend with a 4:0 win.

The men’s futsal team drew 1:1 with FKIT in the 6th round, with Matković scoring from an assist by Barbarić. In the 7th round, they lost 0:3 to Algebra Bernays, although the score remained 0:0 for most of the match. In the 8th and 9th rounds, the team sought points to advance to the final stage of the competition, but a draw against FSB (2:2), with goals from Peka and Marić, and a narrow 1:2 loss to FBF prevented them from progressing from the group. We are proud of both teams, who once again demonstrated quality, dedication, and teamwork. New opportunities for strong performances are already ahead at the upcoming Humanijada, where more quality displays are expected.
