Associate Professor Mario Bara, PhD, presents paper at conference in Ohrid
Associate Professor Mario Bara, PhD, from the Catholic University of Croatia, together with colleagues Dr. Rebeka Mesarić Žabčić from the Ivo Pilar Institute and Dr. Krešimir Ivanda from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb, participated in the 10th international scientific conference GeoBalcanica in Ohrid.
At the conference, they presented the paper Spatial Distribution of Contemporary Immigration in the Republic of Croatia (2021-2025), developed as part of the project Dynamics and Challenges of Migration, Re-migration and Immigration in the Republic of Croatia - DinamiRH, funded through the NextGenerationEU program.
Their research analyzed contemporary immigration processes in Croatia, their spatial distribution, and the demographic and social changes associated with new migration trends in the period from 2021 to 2025.
Other conference participants included Assistant Professor Luka Šikić, PhD, from the Catholic University of Croatia, Dr. Tomislav Belić from the Catholic University of Croatia, and Dr. Nikola Šimunić from the Institute for Migration Research.
