Rector Željko Tanjić visits Vukovar

Rector of the Catholic University of Croatia Professor Željko Tanjić, PhD, visited Vukovar, where he toured several important municipal, academic, and memorial institutions as part of his visit.

The programme began with a reception hosted by Mayor of Vukovar Marijan Pavliček at Vukovar City Hall, followed by a visit to the Vukovar Water Tower, a symbol of Croatian unity.

Rector Tanjić then visited the Memorial Cemetery of the Victims of the Homeland War and the Place of Remembrance – Vukovar Hospital 1991, paying tribute to the victims of Vukovar and the Homeland War.

As part of the academic programme, he visited the “Lavoslav Ružička” University of Applied Sciences in Vukovar. His visit to Vukovar concluded with a tour of the Vučedol Culture Museum.
