Meeting of the Rector and the Leadership of the Faculty of Medicine with Directors of Teaching Hospitals

A working meeting between the Rector, Professor Željko Tanjić, PhD, and the leadership of the Faculty of Medicine with directors and representatives of hospitals that participate in teaching and clinical education as teaching bases of the Faculty was held on Thursday, 5 March 2026, in the Council Hall of our University.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Dalibor Karlović, PhD; Vice-Dean Assistant Professor Elvira Lazić Mosler, PhD; Vice-Dean Associate Professor Marija Ćurlin, PhD; and Vice-Dean Associate Professor Vjekoslav Peitl, PhD, as well as representatives of partner hospitals: Božica Lovrić, PhD, mag. med. techn., Deputy Director of the Požega County General Hospital; Assistant Professor Marko Skelin, PhD, Deputy Director of Šibenik General Hospital; Prim. Željko Čulina, Director of Zadar General Hospital; and Associate Professor Mario Bekić, PhD, Director of Dubrovnik General Hospital.

During the meeting, participants discussed the existing cooperation between the University and the hospitals serving as teaching bases, as well as the further development of clinical education and professional collaboration. As part of the meeting, cooperation agreements were signed, and after the working session the participants toured the campus of the Catholic University of Croatia.
