Faculty Member from the University Department of Sociology on Erasmus+ Mobility in Portugal

Toni Spaseski, an advisor at the Office of the University Department of Sociology at the Catholic University of Croatia, spent the period from July 6 to 10, 2026, at the University of Porto in Portugal as part of the Erasmus+ staff mobility program, where he was hosted by the Social Services of the University of Porto (SASUP).
 

As part of the program titled "Challenges of Social Services in Higher Education," he participated in a series of lectures, workshops, and professional activities dedicated to the challenges of providing social services within the higher education system. The professional program covered topics such as Psychological First Aid, Gender Identity, and other current areas related to student support and social services.

He also actively participated in a round table titled "Challenges of Social Services in Higher Education," which brought together experts from various European higher education institutions to exchange valuable experiences and examples of best practices in the organization and development of social services.

During the mobility, he also visited the Rectorate of the University of Porto, where he became better acquainted with the organization and operations of this leading Portuguese university. This mobility significantly contributed to the exchange of professional knowledge and experiences, the enhancement of professional competencies of the staff, and the strengthening of institutional cooperation and international networking in the field of student support and social services.
