Faculty of Law at the Catholic University of Croatia signs new cooperation agreements with law firms
On Thursday, October 8, 2026, new cooperation agreements between the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Croatia and law firms were signed at the University, further strengthening the connection between academic education and legal practice.
The signing ceremony was attended on behalf of the Faculty of Law by Assistant Professor Marina Zagorec, PhD, Assistant Professor Petra Šprem, PhD, and Marija Mađer, MA in Spanish and Italian Language Education, Head of the Dean’s Office at the Faculty of Law. The law firms were represented by Vjekoslav Ivančić, LLM, from Ostermann Ivančić Law Firm Ltd., and Krešimir Planinić, LLM, from Planinić and Partners Law Firm Ltd.
By continuing its cooperation with law firms, the Faculty of Law at the Catholic University of Croatia is creating additional opportunities for students to gain practical experience and become familiar with the day-to-day work of legal professionals. Through professional internships, available to students as early as the second year of the Law study programme, future lawyers have the opportunity to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world legal procedures and professional challenges while developing the skills needed for their future careers in the legal profession.
