Erasmus+ BIP Summer School on the Role of Higher Education in Implementing Environmental and Climate Priorities Concludes
The Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Summer School titled "Higher Education Addressing the Erasmus+ Priority: Environment and Fight Against Climate Change," organized by the Laudato Si' University Center for Christian Responsibility and Care for Creation, concluded at the Catholic University of Croatia on Friday, July 17, 2026.

Throughout the five-day program, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of higher education's role in promoting sustainability and to exchange experiences and best practices from various European higher education institutions through lectures, a panel discussion, workshops, and a study visit. Special emphasis was placed on implementing the Erasmus+ horizontal priority "Environment and fight against climate change," developing sustainable practices at universities, and exploring opportunities for international cooperation in education, research, and joint projects.

On the final day of the program, participants were awarded certificates of participation, successfully concluding a summer school that brought together representatives of higher education institutions from several European countries. In addition to fostering new skills and expertise, the program contributed to establishing new international contacts and strengthening cooperation among partner institutions.
