Nursing Students and Faculty at the Conference “Diabetes 2026: Technology, Therapy and the Future of Care”

Members of the Nursing Students’ Club Nutrix participated on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, in the professional conference “Diabetes 2026: Technology, Therapy and the Future of Care,” where they had the opportunity to learn about the latest approaches to the treatment and care of people with diabetes.

During the conference, students took part in discussions on contemporary therapeutic methods, the importance of lifestyle habits in disease management, and the growing role of digital technologies in everyday healthcare. Particularly impactful were the presentations that provided insight into the realities of living with diabetes today, as well as advancements in therapy, education, and patient support.

Assist. Prof. Vilma Kolarić, PhD, from the Faculty of Health Studies of the Catholic University of Croatia, also participated in the conference, contributing valuable expertise and experience to a panel discussion.
