Members of the CUC Drama Section Visit the Croatian National Theatre

Members of the Drama Section of the Catholic University of Croatia, accompanied by Professor Sanja Nikčević, visited the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb on June 2, 2026, where they attended a performance of the opera Nikola Šubić Zrinjski by composer Ivan pl. Zajc—a musical and stage spectacle that has embodied heroism, honor, and Croatian identity for a century and a half.

This year, the Croatian National Theatre marks the 150th anniversary of the opera's premiere, which occupies a prominent place in the history of Croatian music and dramatic arts. Through this visit, the CUC Drama Section demonstrated once again that a love for art and theatre is built not only during rehearsals but also through active participation in the cultural life of the city and the celebration of key moments in our history.
