Meeting of Croatian Bishops with the Leadership of the CUC School of Medicine
A meeting between Croatian bishops and the leadership of the School of Medicine at the Catholic University of Croatia was held on Wednesday, 15 April, at the headquarters of the Croatian Bishops’ Conference in Zagreb, as reported by IKA.

The leadership of the School of Medicine presented the study programme, with particular emphasis on the sixth year, during which students of the first generation are scheduled to undertake professional clinical training lasting more than ten weeks in Dubrovnik, Šibenik, Zadar, Pula, Varaždin, Požega, and Gospić.
The Rector of the Catholic University of Croatia, Prof. Željko Tanjić, PhD, stated that the purpose of the meeting was to familiarize the bishops, in whose dioceses the students will carry out their hospital training, “with what we are planning at the Catholic University of Croatia, but also to connect the dioceses and bishops with future physicians.” He added: “Perhaps one day some of them will decide to stay and practice their medical profession in those dioceses.”
