“Erasmus+ Welcome Day” Held at the Catholic University of Croatia

On Tuesday, 1 October 2024, the Catholic University of Croatia marked the beginning of the academic year by welcoming Erasmus+ students with the traditional “Erasmus+ Welcome Day”!

During the winter semester of the 15th academic year, the Catholic University of Croatia will host 15 students from Portugal, France, Slovakia, and Italy. At the introductory meeting, the students were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Jasna Ćurković Nimac, PhD, and the University’s Erasmus+ mobility coordinator, Associate Professor Zoran Turza, PhD. The meeting was moderated by Aleksandra Gečević, MA in Sociology and Education, Head of the Mobility Projects Office.

Participants had the opportunity to get to know the University, its administration, and their ECTS coordinators. Veronika Novoselac, MA in History and Communication and teaching assistant at the Department of History, gave an engaging lecture entitled “Exploring Croatian History: A Journey Through Time.”

Each student was assigned a mentor who gave them a tour of the campus and key locations. The mentors will be available throughout the semester to help the students adjust and navigate their stay in Croatia more easily.

We wish our Erasmus+ students a successful and pleasant stay at the Catholic University of Croatia!
