Assistant Professor Ježovita participates in COST Action VISTA and European Values Study (EVS) project meetings in Brno

A series of international scientific and coordination meetings within the European Values Study (EVS) project and the COST Action Values in Turbulent Times: Navigating Social Changes and Challenges (VISTA, CA24150) took place in Brno, Czech Republic, from September 9 to 11, 2026. Assistant Professor Josip Ježovita, PhD, from the University Department of Sociology at the Catholic University of Croatia participated in the meetings.

The Extended Core Group Meeting of the VISTA COST Action was held at the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University. As Leader of Working Group 2 (Methodological Challenges in Measuring Values), Assistant Professor Josip Ježovita, PhD, participated in planning and coordinating activities and defining the objectives and outcomes for the second year of the project. The meeting also addressed priorities related to dissemination, Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs), and the organization of upcoming conferences and training activities within the Action.

On the same day, the General Assembly of the European Values Study project (EVS GA 2026) was held at the Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies of Mendel University in Brno. EVS-related activities continued with a review of methodological guidelines and practical recommendations for preparing fieldwork. As part of a roundtable discussion dedicated to the development of the study and the status of fieldwork in individual countries, Assistant Professor Josip Ježovita, PhD, presented the current status and plans for implementing the EVS survey in Croatia.
