The Catholic University of Croatia hosts this year’s Horizon Europe Day

The Ministry of Science, Education and Youth, the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes, and the European Commission are organizing the Horizon Europe Implementation Day in Croatia on September 22, 2026. The event will take place in the Aula Magna at the Catholic University of Croatia, Ilica 244, Zagreb.

The event is intended for current and potential beneficiaries of the Horizon Europe programme who wish to improve their knowledge of the proper and effective implementation of projects and learn about the latest changes and programme rules.

Representatives of the European Commission will present the simplifications and changes introduced in the Horizon Europe Work Programmes for 2026 and 2027, updates related to lump sum funding, as well as practical guidance on project management and the application of financial and non-financial rules.

Particular attention will be given to preparing for technical reviews and financial audits, avoiding the most common mistakes in project implementation, and opportunities for support in the market uptake of research results. Participants will also learn about the latest updates to the Funding & Tenders Portal and the EU Funding & Me mobile app.
