At the Catholic University of Croatia, the following centers operate:
Centar za promicanje dobrobiti ranjivih osoba
Ciljevi rada Centra su promocija dobrobiti i zaštite djece, mladih i odraslih, informiranje i educiranje o dobrobiti i zaštiti, suradnja s drugim sličnim centrima u Rimu, Zagrebu i svijetu, te znanstveno-istraživačko-edukativni rad u Crkvi i Domovini. Voditeljica Centra je dr. sc. Anita Dučkić Sertić, a njezini suradnici su magistra psihologije Jelena Zadro, program manager Centra, i diplomirani teolog Damjan Kovač, stručni suradnik.
Hrvatsko katoličko sveučilište je osnivač Centra. Centar za promicanje dobrobiti ranjivih osoba je nastao po uzoru na Centar za zaštitu djece u Rimu te uz njihovu idejnu i stručnu podršku. Glavni donator Centra je Katolička organizacija Die Sternsinger – Kindermissionswerk iz Njemačke.
Center for Psychological Counseling
The Student Counseling Center – Center for Psychological Counseling was established with the aim of providing various forms of psychological help and support to you, students of the Catholic University of Croatia, in order to achieve better academic performance, increase study success and completion of studies, enhance well-being and the quality of student life, and prevent the development of mental disorders.
The Center’s activities include professional help and support through individual and group counseling, organizing lectures and workshops aimed at developing communication skills, facilitating the learning process, reducing exam anxiety, and addressing other difficulties and problems you may encounter in everyday life, as well as the preparation of educational materials. Research on students’ quality of life and evaluations of the counseling center’s work are also conducted. When necessary, meetings are held with representatives of the Student Council and the Department for Student Standards and Student Support.
The experiences of other student counseling centers that have been operating for many years show that students seek help for various types of issues, whether related to studying itself (for example, learning difficulties, adjustment difficulties, exam anxiety), self-perception (for example, anxiety, depression, loneliness, identity difficulties, lack of motivation), or relationships with others (for example, communication problems, family issues, problems in romantic relationships, etc.).
It is possible to visit the counseling center only by prior appointment via email, and we will schedule your appointment as soon as possible.
All counseling services are completely confidential, and information about the use of counseling services is not included in any student records.

Center for the Family
The Center for the Family of the Catholic University of Croatia (COBI) is focused on education and the development of professional practice and scholarship in the field of marriage and family, with the primary goal of preserving and promoting Christian values among young people, within families, and in the wider social community. Our work is guided by the vision of COBI becoming a professional and academic platform that contributes to the creation of a Croatian society in which the family represents a key place for raising capable, courageous, and committed individuals who are aware of their responsibility for the well-being and development of society.
The mission of the Center for the Family of the Catholic University of Croatia is to provide professional educational, counseling, therapeutic, and spiritual support to families, couples, and young people, as well as to implement professional training and lifelong learning programs for professionals working in the fields of marriage, family, and the upbringing of children and youth.
