Unlock the Idea: Communication Students Develop Campaign Solutions for Coca-Cola

The Communication Studies Students’ Club PRotagonisti organised the competition “Unlock the Idea” on 27 April 2026 in the Blessed Alojzije Stepinac Hall, where students had the opportunity to create a creative communication solution based on a real brief from Coca-Cola.

Participants were given 30 minutes to develop their ideas, after which they presented short pitches before an expert jury. The event was hosted and moderated by Dominik Fogadić, a first-year graduate student of communication studies. The jury included Prof. Igor Kanižaj, PhD, from the University Department of Communication Studies, Lucija Stipić, Social Media Lead at McCann, Filip Pavelić, communications consultant at CTA komunikacije, and Vinko Kovačić, Director of Public Affairs and Communications at Coca-Cola.

First place and an escape room prize were awarded to team Vox Quatra (Helena Makarević, Lucija Kačavenda, Maja Karolj, and Nora Kljajić). Second place, with a VR cinema experience as a prize, went to team PRvo mjesto (Rafael Pranjić, Anđelina Golome, and Mara Lešić). Third place was shared by two teams—Tim 2 (Iva Marić, Mila Nevenka Fofić, and Lea Galić) and PRimadonne (Dora Duvnjak Zahirović, Leonarda Inkret, and Karolina Kalabek)—who received faculty supply kits and sweets.

The competition provided students with valuable insight into real-world agency briefs and offered practical feedback and advice from experienced professionals. As the competition is set to continue, all interested students are encouraged to follow the activities of the PRotagonisti Club on their Instagram profile.
