Guest Lecture for Communication Students on the Jesuit Refugee Service

Within the course Religion, Media and Digital Culture, on 21 May, Ante Arambašić, communication and advocacy officer of the Jesuit Refugee Service, delivered a guest lecture.

The lecturer introduced communication studies students to the work of the Jesuit Refugee Service and spoke about the European project Together for Change, as well as about the general ways of using media and social networks for presenting projects. He also presented a project aimed at raising awareness among Catholic parishes in Zagreb and Rijeka on migration issues.

The course Religion, Media and Digital Culture, taught by Assist. Prof. Suzana Peran, PhD, and teaching assistant Hana Kilijan, MA in Communication, is attended not only by Croatian students but also by Erasmus students from Slovakia.
