Assistant Professor Mijoč at the Professional Symposium “Implementation of Vascular Teams in Clinical Practice”

On 1 December 2025, Vesna Mijoč, PhD, Assistant Professor, from the Faculty of Health Studies, Catholic University of Croatia (CUC) participated in the professional symposium “Implementation of Vascular Teams in Clinical Practice,” organized by the Embassy of the United States of America in cooperation with the companies Becton Dickinson and Mediva.

The symposium was officially opened by Nicole McGraw, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Croatia. Following the opening remarks, expert presentations were delivered on the development, importance, and implementation of vascular teams in contemporary clinical practice.

Assistant Professor Mijoč took part in the professional programme segment, during which current practices and models of multidisciplinary team work were presented, with particular emphasis on patient safety, standardization of procedures, and advanced approaches in the field of vascular access.
