Ivan Majnarić
Born in 1980 in Zagreb, he graduated with a degree in History from the University of Zagreb in 2002 and went on to earn a Master’s in Historical Sciences in 2007. He completed his PhD in Historical Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, in 2012, with a thesis on Croatian nobility in the second half of the 14th and the first half of the 15th century.
Since 2012, he has been a faculty member at the Department of History at the Catholic University of Croatia, and in 2024, he was promoted to Full Professor. Prior to his academic career, he worked as an archivist associate at the Croatian State Archives from 2004 to 2006 and as a lexicographical associate and lexicographer at the Miroslav Krleža Lexicographical Institute, where he contributed to the editorial team of the Croatian Biographical Lexicon from 2006 to 2012.
In 2018, he was honored with the Croatian National Science Awards, Annual Science Award.

His research focuses on topics related to medieval social and church history, intellectual history, the publication of archival sources, and biobibliographical reviews.
