Visit of Burak Salih Selçuk as Part of the COST Action VISTA

On August 21, 2026, the Catholic University of Croatia hosted Burak Salih Selçuk from Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (Rize, Türkiye). The visit was carried out as part of the activities of the COST Action "Values in Turbulent Times: Navigating Social Changes and Challenges (VISTA)".
 

Assistant Professor Josip Ježovita, PhD, from the University Department of Sociology, serves as the leader of the working group "Methodological Challenges in Measuring Values" within this Action. During his research stay, Mr. Selçuk will participate in the working group's efforts to prepare and analyze the bibliometric and methodological data collected to date regarding value research across a series of scientific publications.

During the visit, Mr. Selçuk also met with CUC's Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Professor Jasna Ćurković Nimac, PhD, who extended a warm welcome to the University and expressed support for the implementation of the research activities.

This visit represents the continuation of successful international cooperation and makes an important contribution to achieving the goals of the COST Action VISTA while strengthening the University's research capacities.
