Rev. Mladen Horvat, Ph.D., Visits the Catholic University of Croatia

On Friday, 18 July 2025, Rev. Mladen Horvat, Ph.D., pastor of the Parish of Our Lady Queen of Croats in Toronto, Canada, visited the Catholic University of Croatia. On this occasion, he presided over a solemn Holy Mass, while on Monday, 21 July, he concelebrated Mass together with Assoc. Prof. Krunoslav Novak, Ph.D., General Secretary of the Croatian Bishops’ Conference, and Prof. Željko Tanjić, Ph.D., Rector of the Catholic University of Croatia.

During the meeting, Rector Tanjić expressed gratitude to Rev. Horvat and his parishioners for their long-standing spiritual and material support generously provided to the Catholic University of Croatia. Since 2014, the faithful of the Parish of Our Lady Queen of Croats in Toronto have continuously supported the work and development of the University through their donations. Their contributions have helped equip the television and radio studios, supported the student photography contest, and assisted in many other activities.

The Rector also updated Rev. Horvat on the ongoing development and renovation of the University Campus, after which they toured the Campus together with the Vice-Rectors.
