Prestigious Award of the Croatian Academic Sports Association Presented to Student Luna Keretić

At the ceremonial presentation of the prestigious UniSport Stars awards, held on 2 February 2026, the Croatian Academic Sports Association celebrated the most successful academic year in the history of student sport in Croatia. The ceremony brought together numerous athletes, coaches, and representatives of the academic community.

Among many outstanding student-athletes, Luna Keretić stands out. She is a student of the university graduate programme in Psychology at the University Department of Psychology of the Catholic University of Croatia, and as a member of the University of Zagreb Rowing Team, she made a significant contribution to winning the award for the Best Women’s Sports Team. At the 2025 European University Rowing Championship, the women’s rowing team won three medals, one of which was a bronze medal won by Luna Keretić together with Dora Bjelkanović, Anamarija Popko, and Sara Žuvanić.

The achieved results and the awarded recognition testify to her consistent effort, high level of commitment, and successful balancing of sporting and academic responsibilities.
