Medical Student Luka Ćevid Discusses His Music with Communication Students
Luka Ćevid, a fifth-year student at the School of Medicine of the Catholic University of Croatia, was a guest speaker on Wednesday, 6 May 2026, at a seminar within the course Semiotics in the Media. He shared his musical journey with third-year undergraduate students of communication studies.

Growing up in Šibenik, he developed a passion for the guitar and theatre, and alongside his medical studies at the University, he has been building his music career. He recently released the music video for his debut song “Dok sanjam” (“While I Dream”), for which he wrote both the lyrics and the music.
After watching the video together, students analysed it and provided feedback on Luka’s musical work. This led to a dynamic discussion on popular music in Croatia and the role of producers, managers, and public relations professionals in shaping the careers of emerging artists. The session was organised and moderated by teaching assistant Matea Vidulić.
We congratulate our colleague on his first song and wish him continued success!
