Knowledge Marathon – Application and Competition Details

What do you need to register for the Knowledge Marathon?

Registration for the Knowledge Marathon is now open! If you are ready to assemble a team, take on a 24-hour challenge, and apply your knowledge to a real-world problem, here is everything you need to prepare before completing the registration form.

Assemble a Team of Four Members

Teams of four students apply for the Knowledge Marathon. One member can complete the registration form on behalf of the entire team, but must first collect the information for all team members.

Create a Team Name

Every team must have a name. You can choose a serious, creative, or humorous name—what matters most is that it represents your team and that all members approve it before submitting the application.

Select a Competition Category

Before completing the application, you need to decide which category you wish to compete in. Nine categories are available:

• Communication Studies
• Medicine
• History
• Law
• Psychology
• Nursing
• Sociology
• Technology
• Interdisciplinary Category

Choose the field in which you can best leverage the knowledge, experience, and diverse skills of your team members.

Prepare Details for All Members

For each team member, the following details must be prepared in advance:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Name of faculty and study program
• Year of study
• T-shirt size

Registration Fee

The early bird registration fee is €60 per team for registrations submitted by September 15, 2026.

After September 15, the registration fee is €80 per team.

Upon submitting the registration, you will receive an email confirming your application along with payment details for the registration fee.

Ready for the Challenge?

The Knowledge Marathon will take place on October 2, 2026, at the Catholic University of Croatia. Over the course of 24 hours, student teams will solve case studies, develop creative and actionable solutions, and present them to an expert jury.
