Guest Lectures by Assist. Prof. Bakar from Turkey

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ staff mobility programme, Assist. Prof. Hakan Bakar, PhD, from Iğdır University in Turkey visited the University Department of Communication Studies from 18 to 22 May 2026.

Assist. Prof. Bakar delivered guest lectures to communication studies students in the courses Integrated Media Newsroom, taught by Assist. Prof. Suzana Peran, PhD, and Hana Kilijan, MA in Communication, and Magazine Editorial Office II, taught by Assist. Prof. Ivan Uldrijan, PhD, and Matea Vidulić, MA in Communication. In his lectures, he presented his research on journalistic practices in Turkish media.

As part of his visit, he also met with the ECTS coordinator of the University Department of Communication Studies, Assist. Prof. Suzana Peran, PhD, as well as staff members of the International Cooperation Office, who introduced him to the university campus.
