Archival research continued in Šibenik

As part of the research activities within the Croatian Science Foundation project “The Formation of the Territorial State in Late Medieval Croatia, Dalmatia and Slavonia: Socio-Political and Administrative Changes” (CroDaSTrans, IP-2025-02-4345), carried out at the Catholic University of Croatia, Dr. Antun Nekić from the Institute of Historical Sciences of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Zadar continued his research at the Diocesan Archive in Šibenik on April 20–21, 2026.

In doing so, he identified additional relevant materials and further expanded knowledge on the role of ecclesiastical institutions in shaping the social structure of the late medieval city.
