Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Catholic University of Croatia and the Blessing of the Newly Renovated Campus

The Catholic University of Croatia (CUC) is pleased to announce the formal celebration of the 20th anniversary of its foundation, which will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, starting at 10 a.m. in the Great Hall (Aula Magna) at the Catholic University of Croatia.

During the formal academic act, the lectio magistralis will be delivered by His Excellency Archbishop Filippo Iannone, Prefect of the Dicastery for Legislative Texts.

The academic act will be preceded by the blessing of the Campus at 8:30 a.m. in the new University Rectorate building. The blessing will be attended by: Msgr. Dražen Kutleša, Archbishop of Zagreb and Grand Chancellor of the Catholic University of Croatia; Professor Željko Tanjić, Rector of the Catholic University of Croatia with members of the Senate; Professor Radovan Fuchs, Minister of Science, Education, and Youth of the Republic of Croatia; rectors of other Croatian universities; contractors involved in the university campus renovation project, and other guests. The blessing will also be attended by Andrej Plenković, MSc, Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia.
