Professors Togonal and Brković Lectured at a Professional Conference of the HUROŠ Branch of Šibenik-Knin County

On Friday, 16 January 2026, a professional conference of the Šibenik-Knin County Branch of HUROŠ (Croatian Association of Primary School Principals) entitled “Interinstitutional Cooperation and Capacity Building of Educational Institutions” was held.

The meeting focused on the importance of networking and cooperation among various educational, professional, and scientific institutions, with an emphasis on continuity, with the aim of improving the quality of educational practice. Such cooperation is essential for strengthening institutional capacities, enhancing pedagogical processes, and ensuring conditions in which every student and staff member can thrive.

The conference was attended by principals of primary schools from the City of Šibenik and Šibenik-Knin County, as well as Antonija Mirosavljević, President of HUROŠ and Principal of Novska Primary School.

Guest lecturers included Assoc. Prof. Marijana Togonal, PhD, from the University Department of Communication Sciences, Vjera Brković, Senior Lecturer, from the University Department of History at the Catholic University of Croatia, and Vinko Filipović, Professor and Director of the National Centre for External Evaluation of Education (NCVVO). They presented guidelines for further strengthening and developing collaborative models in education, as well as research results based on reliably collected data from the entire population of teachers, educators, and principals worldwide, aimed at improving the quality of teaching and learning.
