Our Student Luna Keretić Wins Bronze at the European University Rowing Championship
At the European University Rowing Championship, held from 18 to 21 September 2025 in Bydgoszcz, Poland, Croatian students achieved remarkable results, winning two silver and two bronze medals. Among the medalists was Lana Keretić, a student of our University Department of Psychology, who won the bronze medal as a member of the women’s quadruple sculls team.

The crew, consisting of Lana Keretić, Sara Žuvanić, Dora Bjelkanović, and Anamarija Popko, put up a strong performance in the final race against competitors from across Europe. They crossed the finish line in third place, just behind the teams from the University of Bath (United Kingdom) and Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic).
This achievement is yet another confirmation of the talent, hard work, and dedication of Croatian students, and for the Catholic University of Croatia it represents a special recognition, as our student’s sporting success contributes to the international promotion of Croatian academic sports.
The next edition of the European University Rowing Championship will be held in 2026 in Zagreb, offering Croatian students another opportunity to showcase their strength and unity on a major European stage.
Congratulations to our colleague!
