Director of the Library of the Pontifical University in Krakow Visits CUC

On Wednesday and Thursday, 2–3 July 2025, as part of the Erasmus+ programme, the Catholic University of Croatia hosted Mr. Sebastian Wojnowski, Director of the Library and Publishing House at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow.

During his visit, Mr. Wojnowski met with Mr. Tomislav Murati, MSc, Head of the University Library, as well as with Ms. Maja Štignjedec, mag. bibl., Head of the Department for Acquisition and Processing of Library Materials. He also met with representatives of the Office for International Cooperation and Mobility Programmes – Ms. Anamarija Čulo Bačarka, mag. iur., Head of the Office, and Ms. Bernarda Krizmanić, mag. comm., Associate in the Mobility Department. The meetings included an exchange of experiences and challenges related to library operations and the implementation of new technologies in university libraries.

Mr. Wojnowski concluded his visit with a generous donation of a rich collection of theological titles, further enhancing the holdings of the Catholic University of Croatia’s Library.
