Communication Experts Delivered Lectures at the Meeting of Parish Media Associate
Teaching staff of the University Department of Communication Sciences – Professor Igor Kanižaj, PhD; Assistant Professor Luka Šikić, PhD; Assistant Professor Snježana Mališa, PhD; Assistant Professor Suzana Peran, PhD; and Teaching Assistant Hana Kilijan, mag. comm. – delivered lectures on Saturday, 28 February, to more than 60 parish media associates of the Archdiocese of Zagreb.
At the beginning of the meeting, held at the Archdiocesan Pastoral Institute in Zagreb, the participants were welcomed by Rev. Tomislav Hačko, Head of the Press Office. This was followed by a lecture by Professor Igor Kanižaj, PhD, entitled “How to Protect Privacy and Recognise Manipulation on Social Media and in Generative Artificial Intelligence.”
The second part of the programme featured practical workshops: “The Application of Artificial Intelligence in Everyday Work” led by Assistant Professor Luka Šikić, PhD; “Reporting on Parish Activities – From Event to Publication” led by Assistant Professor Suzana Peran, PhD, and Hana Kilijan, mag. comm.; and the workshop “Giving Is the Best Communication” led by Assistant Professor Snježana Mališa, PhD.
