New Academic Appointments at the Faculty of Medicine

On Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the 13th session of the Faculty Council of the School of Medicine of the Catholic University of Croatia (CUC School of Medicine), the affirmative decisions of the Senate of the Catholic University of Croatia and the Field Committee for Biomedicine and Health Sciences regarding new academic appointments were presented.

The following were appointed to nominal titles (titular assistant professors): Marija Skoko, PhD, as Titular Assistant Professor in the scientific area of Biomedicine and Health, scientific field of Clinical Medical Sciences, branch of Clinical Immunology; Filip Matovinović, PhD, as Titular Assistant Professor in the scientific area of Biomedicine and Health, scientific field of Clinical Medical Sciences, branch of Otorhinolaryngology; and Sanja Zember, PhD, as Titular Assistant Professor in the scientific area of Biomedicine and Health, scientific field of Clinical Medical Sciences, branch of Infectology.

The following were appointed to academic faculty positions: Biljana Jelić Puškarić, MD, PhD, to the scientific-educational position of Assistant Professor in the scientific area of Biomedicine and Health, scientific field of Clinical Medical Sciences, branch of Clinical Cytology; Dijana Mayer, MD, PhD, to the scientific-educational position of Assistant Professor in the scientific area of Biomedicine and Health, scientific field of Public Health and Healthcare, branch of Epidemiology; Dubravka Mužina, MD, PhD, to the scientific-educational position of Assistant Professor in the scientific area of Biomedicine and Health, scientific field of Clinical Medical Sciences, branch of Surgery; Ivan Lerotić, MD, PhD, to the scientific-educational position of Assistant Professor in the scientific area of Biomedicine and Health, scientific field of Clinical Medical Sciences, branch of Internal Medicine; and Antonio Sermek, PhD, to the scientific-educational position of Assistant Professor in the scientific area of Biomedicine and Health, scientific field of Basic Medical Sciences.
