CUC Basketball Team Competed in the 3x3 Playoffs

The basketball team of the Catholic University of Croatia (CUC) took part in the UniSportZG 3x3 tournament playoffs, held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Stjepan Radić Sports Hall. Although they demonstrated exceptional determination and put in great effort, the team did not manage to secure a spot in the finals this time.
 

Considering that the CUC basketball team was formed only a few months ago, participation in the tournament is seen as an important step in the further development and promotion of basketball at our university.

Representing CUC were Fran Detić, Ante Dumančić, Luca Pecoraro, and Ivo Pehar, with Sven Simov coaching from the bench. We invite all students (and staff) who have not yet joined but would like to take part in recreational practices and pick-up games to contact us via email at kosarka@unicath.hr
