New Resources within the Project “Representation and Analysis of Catholic Topics in the Digital Media Space”
After a year of intensive work, the research team of the project “Representation and Analysis of Catholic Topics in the Digital Media Space” has published a comprehensive map of the Croatian digital media space related to Catholic topics.
The project database has been significantly expanded and now includes more than 610,000 posts with Catholic-related content from 2021 to the present, with continuous real-time data collection. The project website has been completely redesigned in accordance with the latest technological standards. Users now have access to four intuitively structured analytical maps that enable a detailed insight into the Catholic digital media space.
The analyses include:
identification of Catholic actors and platforms
thematic discourse analysis
emotional mapping of the discourse anosphere
analysis of key events
In line with the principles of open science, all project resources are publicly available. The database has been published in a structured format that allows for the replication of analyses and the development of new research approaches. The complete code and methodology are available through an open-access repository.
