Dr. Marijana Matijaš, PhD, at a COST Connect event with representatives of UN agencies
On Thursday, 29 January 2026, a COST Connect event was held in Brussels with the aim of fostering cooperation between researchers involved in COST Actions and representatives of United Nations agencies, with a particular emphasis on the multidisciplinary dialogue necessary to address complex global challenges.

Dr. Marijana Matijaš participated in the event as a representative of the COST Action COCAG – Critical perspectives on career and career guidance (CA23112), which focuses on research into careers and career guidance in contemporary social and labour-market contexts. Participation in this event enabled the presentation of the Action’s scientific activities and results, as well as the exchange of experiences regarding the contribution of research to social sustainability in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations.
The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders and contributed to strengthening international cooperation and recognising synergies that can accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient future.
