The European Union's Erasmus+ program provides students with the opportunity to study and gain professional experience abroad, thereby gaining valuable international experience. The Faculty of Law at the Catholic University of Croatia recognizes the importance of internationalizing education and actively encourages its students to take full advantage of the benefits provided by the Erasmus+ program. Additionally, Erasmus+ supports faculty mobility, allowing the Faculty of Law to bring in professors from prestigious law schools across Europe.

We provide support to students to help them achieve mobility through the Erasmus+ program. Our study program is designed to promote student mobility, particularly in the final years. The fifth year can be considered the “year of mobility,” as it offers students the opportunity to spend an entire year abroad. Therefore, we strongly encourage students to apply for Erasmus+ competitions for studying abroad during their third, fourth, and fifth years. During these years, the learning outcomes of the program are more focused on international law. Additionally, students can apply for competitions for long-term or short-term professional internships abroad under the Erasmus+ program, which further enhances their professional profiles.

The Catholic University of Croatia has a vast network of universities with which it has signed cooperation agreements. The Faculty of Law has already signed contracts with some of them to apply to law students, such as the Catholic University of Lyon, the Faculty of Law of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest and the Catholic Institute of Paris, and we are also actively working on establishing new partnerships with higher education institutions across Europe. In this way, we offer students a broader range of destinations and opportunities for personal and academic growth.

Erasmus+ not only enriches the educational process of students but also contributes to their competitiveness in the labor market and the development of independence, language, and intercultural competences. We invite all students to inform themselves about the possibilities and apply for Erasmus+ competitions.
