Our University and the Computer Science Programme Presented at Pazin College

On 13 January 2026, teaching assistants Jelena and Daniel Štifanić from the Faculty of Engineering presented the Catholic University of Croatia and the opportunities it offers to prospective students during a lecture held at Pazin College. The lecture was intended for final-year secondary school students and other interested pupils, and was entitled “Artificial Intelligence, from TikTok to Tesla.”

Through their presentation, the assistants addressed topics such as the application of artificial intelligence in everyday life, the basics of cybersecurity, and the use of virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR) in education, entertainment, and industry.

At the end of the lecture, a short interactive quiz was organised for the students, while particular interest was sparked by a demonstration of a robotic dog, which further encouraged engagement and interaction with the topic.
