Our Faculty of Health Studies Expands Cooperation with the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Mostar

On June 26, 2026, the Faculty of Health Studies hosted representatives from the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Mostar. The working meeting was attended by the Acting Dean of the CUC Faculty of Health Studies, Assistant Professor Ivica Matić, PhD, alongside guests from Mostar: the Dean of FZS SUM, Professor Vajdana Tomić, PhD, the Vice President of the SUM Governing Board, Professor Danijela Petrović, PhD, and the Head of the Dean's Office, Željka Kljajo.

The main focus of the meeting was the operationalization of the existing cooperation agreement, with an emphasis on specific needs in the fields of biomedicine and healthcare. Concrete steps were agreed upon to encourage the mobility of students, as well as teaching and non-teaching staff, aiming to exchange best practices in both education and clinical work.

Special attention was dedicated to connecting the Nursing and Midwifery study programs successfully offered at both institutions, thereby opening new opportunities for students to gain international experience. Additionally, discussions were initiated regarding joint project applications, the organization of scientific conferences, and collaboration in publishing.

By strengthening ties with the Faculty of Health Studies from Mostar, the Faculty further solidifies its role in educating future healthcare professionals to the highest standards, while offering its students and teachers a valuable platform for professional and academic development.
