Psychology Professors at the 32nd Annual Conference of Croatian Psychologists

From 5 to 8 November 2025, the 32nd Annual Conference of Croatian Psychologists was held in Split, organized by the Croatian Psychological Association, under the overarching theme “Psychology and Psychologists in Times of Crisis: Strengthening the Resilience of Individuals, Families, and Communities.” This is the largest psychology conference in Croatia, which this year brought together 670 participants.
 


From the Department of Psychology of the Catholic University of Croatia, Assoc. Prof. Sandra Nakić Radoš, Ph.D., and Maja Žutić, Ph.D., took part. Professor Nakić Radoš was a member of the Programme Committee, chaired several sessions, and organized a symposium titled “Protective Factors of Mental Health from Pregnancy to Early Motherhood,” within which CUC lecturers gave three presentations.

Dr. Žutić presented a paper co-authored with Marijana Matijaš, Maja Brekalo, and Sandra Nakić Radoš, titled “The Role of Resilience and Social Support in Different Mental Health Outcomes During and After Pregnancy,” presenting data from the three-year MumHealth project, funded by the Catholic University of Croatia. From the same project, former CUC student Lucija Kolić presented a paper co-authored with M. Žutić, M. Matijaš, M. Brekalo, and S. Nakić Radoš, titled “Resilience and Social Support as Moderators of the Relationship Between Neuroticism and Postpartum Stress.”

Nakić Radoš also presented, together with the Horizon project HappyMums consortium, a study protocol titled “Using the HappyMums Mobile Application to Predict Peripartum Depression.” The symposium also featured former CUC student Barbara Lovrić and colleagues from the University of Zadar and the University Clinical Hospital Mostar.

Additionally, Nakić Radoš gave a presentation co-authored with former CUC students Vicko Ćudina, Lorena Štengl, and Helena Vuković, titled “Resilience as a Protective Factor: Personality Traits and Anxiety in Times of Nuclear Threat.”
