Midwifery Students Participate in Public Health Initiative for Pregnant Women
On Saturday and Sunday, 21 and 22 February 2026, a public health midwifery initiative intended for pregnant women and their partners was held at the premises of the Roda Association. Our midwifery students Tena Rajki, Natalija Razbornik, Patricia Bogdanović, Sara Božić, Mara Kramar and Iva Tomas Kosijer took part in the initiative.

During the two-day programme, a series of engaging and professionally grounded lectures and discussions were held on current topics related to pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood. Our students participated in both the organisation and implementation of the programme. Their involvement represents an important part of their professional development, as well as a concrete contribution to strengthening the role of midwifery within the community.

The initiative was organised in cooperation with the Croatian Association for the Promotion of Midwifery, the Roda Association and the Croatian Chamber of Midwives, with the aim of promoting the importance of midwifery care, strengthening the awareness of future parents and enhancing public health activities within the community.
