Assoc. Prof. Petra Palić Visits University of Algarve in Portugal as Part of Erasmus+ Mobility
From 30 June to 4 July 2025, Assoc. Prof. Petra Palić, Ph.D., from the Department of Sociology at the Catholic University of Croatia, visited the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism – University of Algarve (Escola Superior de Gestão, Hotelaria e Turismo | ESGHT – Universidade do Algarve) in Faro, Portugal, as part of the Erasmus+ staff mobility programme.
During her visit, Professor Palić had the opportunity to learn about the operations of the International Relations Office, the administrative and technical aspects of Erasmus+ mobility implementation, and examples of good practices in promoting incoming and outgoing student and staff mobility. She also participated in individual consultations and working meetings focused on exploring possibilities for future institutional cooperation.
A special highlight was the meeting with Prof. Alexandra Rodrigues Gonçalves, Dean of the Faculty, during which they agreed on collaboration within joint teaching, research, and development initiatives, as well as potential student and faculty exchanges in future academic years. They also discussed opportunities for joint project applications under the Erasmus+ programme and other international EU funding calls.
This mobility experience contributed to strengthening institutional cooperation and further enhanced the international dimension of the Catholic University of Croatia.
