Assistant Marin Čargo was a guest on the Croatian Radio and Television show "Good Morning, Croatia"

On Monday, May 12, 2025, Marin Čargo, an assistant at the University Department of Nursing, was a guest on the show "Good Morning, Croatia" on Croatian Radio and Television on the occasion of International Nurses Day.

Čargo presented the nursing study program at our University and the department itself, as well as the results of the congress "Nursing: Science and Profession". "Nursing studies at the Croatian Catholic University have been in existence for 10 years. We are still the largest department at the university, we have about 415 students enrolled, of which about 235 are at the undergraduate level and 180 at the graduate level, and then these levels are again divided into full-time and part-time students, since they still have enough students who are actually studying while working who are already in the healthcare system," concluded Čargo and continued: "The congress is designed to last 2 days. On the first day, we mainly had a series of workshops related to narrow specializations such as the ECG course, clinical mentoring and scientific methodology, from the research design itself to publication. Then, quite a few current topics: these were invited lectures such as artificial intelligence, which is increasingly integrated into scientific research, specialist training of medical technicians in the field of emergency medicine. And what was actually the most interesting were the lectures by our students, since the graduation thesis is mandatory as a research paper in our country," concluded Čargo.
