Vilma Kolarić
Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Health Studies, Catholic University of Croatia in Zagreb. She graduated in 2012 from the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb. In 2023, she completed her doctoral scientific studies in Education and Management in Healthcare at the Faculty of Health Sciences in Novo Mesto, with the dissertation titled "Quality of Life of People with Diabetes with Chronic Complications and Their Partners". She became an Assistant Professor at the Catholic University of Croatia in 2024.
SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS:
Promotion of continuous scientific development and a multidisciplinary approach in the healthcare of patients with chronic endocrine diseases. My personal and professional mission is closely tied to the idea that a nurse in the field of diabetology is not just a caregiver, but also an educator, advisor, support system, researcher, and an essential member of the team in the treatment and prevention of diabetes.
