Vesna Konjevoda
Assistant Professor Vesna Konjevoda, PhD, is a distinguished expert in the field of nursing, with extensive experience in clinical practice, nursing education and professional engagement. She began her career at the Clinical Hospital Sveti Duh, where she continues to work as the Head Nurse of the Surgical Clinic. She has also developed a strong academic profile as a teaching assistant and lecturer at several higher education institutions. As a lecturer at the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb and the Faculty of Health Studies at the University of Rijeka, she is actively involved in nursing education and curriculum development. Vesna Konjevoda earned her PhD at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, following her graduate and postgraduate studies in nursing management. In addition, she is actively engaged in national and international professional committies, particularly in enterostomal therapy, where she acts as program leader and international coordinator of lifelong learning initiatives. She is the President of the Association of Nurses/Technicians in Digestive Surgery and an organizer of numerous international congresses and symposia. She is the author of numerous scientific and professional papers, manuals, and textbooks and a frequent lecturer at national and international conferences.

Surgical nursing care, enterostomal therapy, healthcare management and organization, professional development, education and mentorship in nursing, patient safety and clinical practice improvement, case management, supervision and standardization of nursing practice, health education.
