Valentina Janković Barbarić
Assistant professor at the Department of History of Catholic University of Croatia, Zagreb where she works since 2012 and teaches courses in Croatian and European early modern history.
She graduated and later obtained her PhD in Early Modern History in 2013 at the Faculty for Croatian Studies of University of Zagreb with the dissertation The Noble Family Vojković-Vojkffy and Socio-Cultural life of Zagreb and its Surroundings during the 18th Century.
She published several scientific and professional papers and edited a collection of historical sources. She presented papers in numerous international and domestic conferences and participated in several scientific projects.

Early modern nobility of northwestern Croatia; cultural and social history of the elites of Croatian lands in the early modern period; family, everyday life and material culture in the early modern period
